Courses

History faculty offer a variety of courses in U.S., European, Latin American, Asian, and Middle Eastern history, at the survey, advanced, and graduate levels.  In geography, undergraduate courses are offered in regional, historical, and human geography, with particular attention to the U.S. and Latin America.

Please note that not all courses in the history and geography catalog are taught each semester; some of them repeat much more frequently than others.  See the course descriptions posted on this page and/or the Class Search function for information on classes in any given semester.

Students please note: The Department of History and Geography does not provide or sponsor tutoring services for history or geography students, though tutors are sometimes available through other campus organizations.   Before hiring a tutor, you may wish to confirm his or her qualifications.
